The high level of precipitation makes Ivy Lake a pretty wet place; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain; October is when it's the driest. Bonita Lakes RV Park is a good local campground; if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites MERIDIAN is a magnificent choice. Clarke County State Park Lake Dam is not       far at all from Ivy Lake, and Fairchild Mill Pond is a nice lake close by. Man, is there a load of exciting stuff to do close to Ivy Lake. Campground RV Park is a great campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water nearby, Moore Mill Creek is a stream you can go to during your stay, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Meridian. Summer at Ivy Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's; through summer nights temperatures                  are in the 60's.
