Charles Pickering Catfish Ponds Dam is an interesting thing to check out; since you're here, you could go to Smith Creek. At Horseshoe Lake throughout the summer       highs are in the 90's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Horseshoe Lake sink into the 30's.
