Hiking is a popular thing to do around Happy Lake; Big Foot Trail is a fine local trail, and if you're popping by from Gulfport-Biloxi, you won't be the only one. The warmest time of the year at Happy Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Happy       Lake are in the 30's. Happy Lake frequently gets a large amount of rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is October.
