Thompson Lake Dam is a place that is in the neighborhood of Goose Lake, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Vicksburg is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. A good deal of rainfall falls at Goose Lake; most of the rain falls through March while August is usually the driest month. All through the summer months highs here at Goose Lake get into the 90's with nighttime lows in the 70's.       The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Goose Lake fall into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. People from Vicksburg love to come to Goose Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Vicksburg. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Goose Lake. If you came to camp River City RV Park is a tremendous place to do that, and since you're here, you could also                  go to wonderful Horseshoe Lake.
