Camping is available at Battlefield Kampground, and needless to say, this is a great vicinity for folks who like lakes, Thompson Lake is a lake in close proximity. Bliss Creek is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Taylor Lake. This place, Goose Lake, it truly has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. If you need a site to stay Econo Lodge Vicksburg is a good choice. Goose

| | Lake commonly gets a good deal of rain; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and August meanwhile is the driest month.
High temperatures at Goose Lake during the summertime are in the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 70's. Hotel & Suites Vicksburg; the scenery at Thompson Lake Dam is wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Ameristar Rv Park is a brilliant spot to camp, and Goose Lake is not far at all from Vicksburg.

 | ...missing since July 16, 2006. She did this in April, resulting in a very serious suicide attempt. She is likely suicidal now and is currently under Psychiatric care. She has left 3 children at home, one of them is Autistic!
She loves tent camping in state parks and national battlefields. I know that she was camping at Watega State Park, WV until Sunday (7/30) morning. She is also interested in Civil War battlefields and was at Shiloh National Military Park last week. We think she may be in your area.
I would greatly appreciate it if you would alert the campgrounds in your parks, especially around battlefields.
Her name is Courtney Michele Wallace. She goes by Michele, but could be using Courtney. She is 5' 4 tall and weighs approx 160 pounds. She has short reddish brown hair with blonde highlights and blue eyes.
She is driving a 1989 Blue Jeep, VA license JSK 9380. She also has a small buff colored Shih-Tzu dog with her. The dog's name is Mosby.

Richard, from what I understand the lake at Cabin Teele was created by the break itself. I have been doing some research on levee breaks and the larger ones (like Cabin Teele and Mounds Landing in Mississippi) usually gouge out a lake when it breaks.
