At Gin Lake throughout the summer highs are in the 90's while night lows are typically in the 70's. Highs through the wintertime are frequently in the 50's; overnight lows at Gin Lake throughout the winter ordinarily sink into the 30's. Here at Gin Lake there are plenty of folks from Vicksburg, and some of the water close by flows, like Blue Bayou. There's some exciting stuff to catch a sight of at       Culp Lake Dam next to Gin Lake. Lakes? Sure, Horseshoe Lake is close by. This place, Gin Lake, it just has so much outdoors fun stuff. There's so much to do here at Gin Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Askew's Landing Campground is a delightful place for that. If you came to camp Battlefield Kampground is a good site to do that; if you need a spot to stay Relax Inn is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. A fine nearby hotel is Hillcrest                  Inn, and since you're here and you like golf, you can stop at Clear Creek Golf Club.
