This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Askew's Landing Campground while you're here at Gin Lake, and Comfort Suites Vicksburg is a good site to get some rest. Summertime highs at Gin Lake usually tend to be in the 90's. Summer night lows fall down to the 70's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are generally in       the 50's, and night lows at Gin Lake through the wintertime frequently sink into the 30's. A lake nearby is Horseshoe Lake; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Clear Creek Golf Club is around here. Gin Lake commonly gets lots of precipitation; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and September on the other hand is the driest.
