If you came for an overnight stay Clearwater RV Park and Campground is a glorious spot to camp, and if you're popping by from Picayune, you won't be the only one. Gilberts Lake gets a good deal of water; during the month of February you get the most rain around here, and October meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Gilberts Lake is close to Craigin Gilbert Lake Dam which is a wonderful site       unquestionably worth a visit, and a great nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites PICAYUNE. Why not camp at High Hills Riding Stables and Campgrounds if you're here at Gilberts Lake, and Days Inn - Picayune is a great spot to get some rest. Throughout the summer highs here at Gilberts Lake get into the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 70's.
