Why not take a refreshing hike along the Black Creek Hiking Trail; Joe Morgan Lake Dam has good water scenery. Geiger Lake is a reasonably wet place usually with much precipitation; the month with most of the rain is March, and October is the month with the least moisture. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Geiger Lake; Buckeye Trail is a glorious local trail; Geiger Lake is not far       at all from Hattiesburg. Dry warm beds await you at Hattiesburg Super 8 Motel, and a magnificent place to camp here at Geiger Lake is Cypress Hill Resort. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Inn On The Hill is a splendid site to get some rest. During the long summer days, highs typically are in the 90's at Geiger Lake. Summer night lows dip down to the 70's.
