After a long day outdoors Best Western Woodstone is a splendid spot to spend a night or two, and why not camp at Lake-a-way Camp Grounds while you're here at Fish Lake. Lots of rain falls at Fish Lake; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; October is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Little Island is a great site here at Fish Lake, and a fine spot to camp here at Fish       Lake is Bigfork Trail Riders Campground. There are other places here than Fish Lake, for example Blue Lake, and perfect hiking is available along the Black Creek Hiking Trail. Hogpen Branch is a beautiful stream that is worth stopping at, and you can go for a hike on the Big Foot Trail. Going for a hike on the Tuxachanie Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and Gulf Islands National Seashore is a very pleasant place to take a look at. Summertime                  brings highs in the 90's to Fish Lake; through summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. All through the winter highs are in the 60's; night lows during the winter for Fish Lake tend to be in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Having a splendid time at Fish Lake is trouble-free.
