You'll need more than a day to discover everything Fields Lake has to offer, you can camp at Traceway Camp Grounds. During the warmest time of the year at Fields Lake highs are generally in the 90's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Fields Lake sink into       the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid nearby hotel is Quality Inn Natchez, and let's not forget Coles Creek which is a stream that you may bump into while here. There's so much to do here at Fields Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Whispering Pines Travel Park is a great spot for that, and while you're here, you could also check out picturesque Shady Bradley Lake. Swamps like Dies Slough are fun to pop by, and you don’t have to go far from Fields Lake to observe the water at Carl Anderson Lake Dam.
