Mississippi National Golf Club Linkscorp is a tremendous golf course close by, and camping is available at Camp Journey's End. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Duck Pond, you could also stop at nearby Ware Lake, and on a perfect day you can take a look at Sawlog Slough, a       swamp near Duck Pond. Duck Pond gets a large amount of water; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is October. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Moss Point Pascagoula; during your trip here you'll meet some folks from Pascagoula for sure. Duck Pond is not the only spot close by, Kates Pond is a close by lake. Summertime highs at Duck Pond usually tend to be in the 90's.
