Thanks Says Paul Stilley Lake Dixie Springs is a wonderful place to go fishing. The lake is big so that you can do many of things. My friends were out last year bass fishing and we caught a 15 lb. catfish. There are big fish in there they just haven't been caught. We did catch bass that day. We caught about 12 4+ pounders. I am to old to ski and to do things     like that but my grandkids absolutly love it. once we found a 5 ft. rattler along the shore. If you're in the area just try lake Dixie Springs. Even though it is not the biggest or fancyest it really is a wonderful place to be. If you do not like you can go to Percy Quinn National Park where you have to pay to get in. Unless you say that you are new to the area and ask for a peak and notpay. Then just fish for a certain period of time. At both places it is realitivly the same fishing.
