There's always J E Powell Pond Dam to visit near Dees Pond; dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Corinth. Dees Pond is a reasonably wet place regularly with lots of precipitation; December is the wettest month with most rain, and October is when it's the driest. There's some flowing water close by, Clear Creek is a stream you can explore while here; after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn       Corinth is a magnificent site to spend a night or two. Little Creek Ranch is a magnificent campground nearby, and a stunning lake like Santa Fe Lake is a glorious site to pop by. Just can't get enough of Dees Pond.
