Deans Lake is a quite wet place commonly with a large amount of precipitation; through the month of March you get the most rain around here, and August on the other hand is the driest. Summertime highs at Deans Lake usually tend to be in the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Deans Lake. Be careful       coming to Deans Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. Take a hike on the Witch Dance Horse Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay West Point - Days Inn is a good choice, and camping is available at Indian Mound Campground RV Park. You'll meet a lot of people from Starkville here, and a lake nearby is Brewer Lake. At Deans Lake Dam in close proximity to Deans Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see,                  and why not camp at Stinkin Jims if you're here at Deans Lake.
