This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Oak Slush Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn COLUMBUS. This lake is so wonderful. Columbus Lake is a wet location that gets a good deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls during December, and the driest month of the year is August. Best Western       Executive Suites is a good place to get some rest; do have a look at Alligator Lake, it's a striking lake. Indian Mound Campground RV Park is a magnificent campground nearby, and a pretty lake like Officers Lake is a magnificent place to go to. Summertime highs at Columbus Lake commonly tend to be in the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. During the winter highs are in the 50's with temperatures at Columbus Lake dipping down into the 30's                  during winter nights. If you came for an overnight stay Town Creek Recreation Area is a nice place to camp, and a tremendous spot to go to close by is Lincecums Shoals. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area close to Columbus Lake has to offer.
