Throughout the summertime months at Collins Lake highs are mostly in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. For the period of the winter the highs are regularly in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Collins Lake are in the 30's.       All the water falling down from the sky makes Collins Lake a wet spot; the wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the one that rains the most, and October is the month with the least moisture. Camping at Trav-l-kamp and Mobile Home Park is always a fine experience, and not far from Collins Lake you'll discover Fiddlers Sail which is a beautiful lake. This lake is so wonderful.
