| | A good close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites FOREST, and there is a pleasant hiking trail close by called the Shockaloe Trail. Clark Lake gets a large amount of water; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and September is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
