A nice spot to camp here at Choctaw Lake is Choctaw Lake Campground Recreation Site, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Beaver Pond. During the summer months highs here at Choctaw Lake get into the 90's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 50's with winter lows in the       30's overnight here at Choctaw Lake. Do stop by Choctaw Lake Dam if you're here at Choctaw Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Quality Inn Louisville is a good choice. The high level of rain makes Choctaw Lake a rather wet place; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is August. This lake is so wonderful.
