All the water falling down from the sky makes Chain Lake a wet spot; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.                  During the months of summer here at Chain Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's while Chain Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
