Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Buzzard Lake is excellent! Buzzard Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Askew's Landing Campground is a good local campground. After a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Vicksburg is a magnificent place to spend a night or two; Little Horseshoe Lake is a wonderful lake       close by. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Buzzard Lake. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 70's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 50's with temperatures at Buzzard Lake dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. You'll meet a lot of people from Vicksburg here, and dry warm beds await you at Courtyard Vicksburg. Buzzard Lake is a wet place that gets a great deal of rain; through December this area                  sees the most rain, and August is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
