During the summer months at Buzzard Lake highs are frequently in the 90's. All through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Buzzard Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side visit to Belches Bayou, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to spot at Farm Land Company Lake Dam in close proximity to Buzzard Lake. Camping       is available at Askew's Landing Campground, and this is a popular spot for people from Vicksburg. Why not camp at Battlefield Kampground since you're here at Buzzard Lake, and Courtyard Vicksburg is a wonderful place to get some rest.
