After a long day outdoors Best Western Meridian is a delightful place to spend a night or two; a trip to Fairchild Springs will fill your soul with good feelings. This lake is so wonderful. Very tremendous water scenery is available at Burwell Lake Dam close to Burwell Lake; during your journey here you'll meet some folks from Meridian for sure. Bonita Lakes RV Park is a pleasant campground nearby, and       there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Chunky River. Ramada Limited is a glorious location to get some rest, and Campground RV Park is a great local campground. All the water falling down from the sky makes Burwell Lake a wet site; March is the wettest month with most rain while June is commonly the driest month. High temperatures at Burwell Lake through the summertime months are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. For                  the duration of the wintertime highs are typically in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Burwell Lake during the winter mostly fall into the 30's.
