Through the warmest time of the year at Brewer Lake highs are ordinarily in the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 50's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Brewer Lake temperatures drop to the 30's. What a site this is for outdoors folks. Brewer Lake is not the only place close by, Oktibbeha County Lake       is a close by lake, and if you need a place to stay Days Inn and Suites Starkville is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Deans Lake, and Stinkin Jims is a good campground nearby. There's tremendous hiking along the Witch Dance Horse Trail, and it's a magnificent idea to take a look at Johnson Creek. Brewer Lake is near Brewer Lake Dam which is a striking site certainly worth going to; after a long day outdoors Hotel Chester                  is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. You'll meet a lot of folks from Starkville here; Indian Mound Campground RV Park is a nice local campground.
