Camping at Lake Perry is always a fine experience; don't leave Blue Pond without first going for a hike along the Black Creek Hiking Trail. Blue Pond usually gets a good deal of rainfall; December is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. A great location to camp here at Blue Pond is Red Wolf Wilderness Adventures, and Deitz Lake is a great lake close       by. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Woodstone is a great place to spend a night or two. All through the summertime, highs commonly are in the 90's at Blue Pond. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 70's.
