Hillman Dead River is a nearby lake that you could stop by, also McLain Sewage Lagoon Dam is worth going to if you're here. Looking for some flowing water? Try Atkinson Creek, and a nice site to camp here at Black Lake is Red Wolf Wilderness Adventures.
