A good close by hotel is Inn On The Hill, and Pine Creek Golf Club is a great golf course close by. At Beaver Lake through the summer months highs are in the 90's. Summer night lows sink down to the 70's.       The winter brings highs down to the 50's; night lows throughout the wintertime for Beaver Lake tend to be in the 30's. Beaver Lake is not far at all from Hattiesburg. There's so much to do here at Beaver Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cypress Hill Resort is a good location for that. On a good day at Beaver Lake you can take a hike along the Black Creek Hiking Trail, and there's always Lake Beaver Dam to explore near Beaver Lake. This lake                  is so wonderful. Beaver Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Okatoma River Resort is a good local campground, and of course Bufkins Branch flows through this vicinity.
