Just getting warmed up. Some close by water includes Bufkins Branch, and close to Beaver Lake you stumble on a golf course called Pine Creek Golf Club. The Buckeye Trail is a delightful hiking trail in the neighborhood of Beaver Lake, and you can stay the night at Shady Cove RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. During your tour to Beaver Lake you'll meet some people from       Hattiesburg for sure; Beaver Lake is a glorious site to camp, Okatoma River Resort is a glorious site. The warmest time of the year at Beaver Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 70's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Beaver Lake are in the 30's. Beaver Lake ordinarily gets a lot of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually December, that's                  the one that rains the most, and October is the month with the least moisture. There is a delightful hiking trail close to Beaver Lake called the Black Creek Hiking Trail, and if you need a place to stay Southern Hospitality is a nice choice.
