If the weather is wonderful, you get a nice panorama of Renick Hill from Autry Lake; after a long day outdoors Best Western Ripley is a great spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. You'll find a striking lake called Baugham Lake near Autry Lake; camping at Wall Doxey State Park is always a       magnificent experience. For the duration of the long summer days here at Autry Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's, and the night is a little colder of course, mostly in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Autry Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. All the water falling down from the sky makes Autry Lake a wet place; through the month of December you get                  the most rain around here while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
