    Beautiful Ashe Lake has much to offer visitors. During the summer at Ashe Lake highs are mostly in the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 70's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 50's while Ashe Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's. So many amusing things to do at Ashe Lake, so little time. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Ashe Lake has to offer, you can camp at Deer Run Lake  
   Hunting Lodge; there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the Black Creek Hiking Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Inn On The Hill is a good choice, and there are other locations here than Ashe Lake, for example Janney Lake. Not far from Ashe Lake, you'll hit upon Andrew Pond which is a pretty lake; you can stay the night at Cypress Hill Resort. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Woodstone, and going for a hike on the Buckeye
 
               Trail is always a perfect adventure.
Visit Big Creek while you're here at Ashe Lake; there are plenty of folks from Hattiesburg here at Ashe Lake. Ashe Lake is a wet spot that gets a good deal of rain; March is the wettest month with most rain while October is generally the driest month.
