Ashe Lake is a lake worth visiting. Big Creek is near Ashe Lake and is always a delight to explore, and if you came for an overnight stay Cypress Hill Resort is a magnificent site to camp. All the water falling down from the sky makes Ashe Lake a wet place; through March this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is October. Deer Run Lake Hunting Lodge is a great local campground; if you need a location to stay Inn On The Hill is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. Have a great hiking adventure along the Black Creek Hiking Trail, and this is a popular place for folks from Hattiesburg. | |
