If you came for an overnight stay Big Sand Campground is a great spot to camp, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Ridgeland Inn. This lake is so wonderful. During your journey to Armstrong Pond you'll meet some people from Vicksburg for sure, and Askew Pond Dam is not far at all from Armstrong Pond. For the period of the days       of summer at Armstrong Pond temperatures are regularly in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 70's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's while Armstrong Pond overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's.
