Summertime highs at Alligator Lake typically tend to be in the 90's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Alligator Lake. Camping is available at Leake County water Park. All       the water falling down from the sky makes Alligator Lake a wet spot; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that rains the most, and September is when it's the driest. It's a wonderful idea to have a look at Crookedwood Branch, it's in the neighborhood of Alligator Lake, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Round Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
