The high level of rain makes Aldrich Lake a relatively wet place; December is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is October. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Motel - Hattiesburg is a good location to get some rest, and do take a hike on the Buckeye Trail. For the duration of the summer months highs here at Aldrich Lake get into the 90's. For the period of       the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 70's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Aldrich Lake are in the 30's. Camping at Okatoma River Resort is always a brilliant experience. And that's not all you can do here at Aldrich Lake. A great site to camp here at Aldrich Lake is Cypress Hill Resort, and Aldrich Lake is a location with many visitors from Hattiesburg. After a long day outdoors                  Red Carpet Inn Hattiesburg is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and hiking along the Black Creek Hiking Trail is good fun.
