Woods Lake is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Sullivan Super 8 Motel is a fine choice; not far from Woods Lake you'll locate Timberlane Lake which is a wonderful lake. Harmon Spring Campground is a good local campground; magnificent hiking is available along the Berryman Trail. Be careful coming to Woods Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. Lost Creek flows through this area; there's wonderful hiking

After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Sullivan is a good place to spend a night or two, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Meramec River.
