Summer brings highs in the 90's to Wood Lake, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's while Wood Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. A great place to camp here at Wood Lake is Osage Prairie RV       Park, and do explore Cass Lake, it's a beautiful lake. Wood Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Candle Creek Mini Golf is a pleasant local campground, and Country Inn & Suites By Carlson Nevada is a great spot to get some rest. All the water falling down from the sky makes Wood Lake a wet place; the month with most of the rain is June, and January is the month with the least moisture.
