Not far from Windy Knoll Lake, you'll discover Lake Scheffborg which is a pretty lake, and Warrenton-Days Inn is a splendid place to get some rest. From a precipitation point of view Windy Knoll Lake is a reasonably common place; most of the rain falls all through May, and January is when it's the driest. What a place this is for outdoors people. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Innsbrook Resort       Golf Course is a great way to kill some time, and Pinewoods Park is a pleasant local campground.
