A spree to George Washington Carver National Monument       is worthwhile; if you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel - Neosho is a magnificent choice. Best Western Big Spring Lodge is a great location to get some rest, and a short visit to Williams Spring is always worthwhile. Lots of people from Joplin come to Williams Pond, and there's some flowing water nearby, Williams Branch is a stream you can explore while you're here. There's so much to do here at Williams Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Big Barn                  RV Park is a good spot for that, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Shoal Creek. Williams Pond is a wet location that gets a great deal of precipitation; September is the wettest month with most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Yep, outdoors entertaining things to do are beyond doubt plentiful here at Williams Pond.
