     If you're interested in hydro structures, you can explore Willer Lake Dam, and since you're here, you could also explore pretty Willer Lake Section 32. Be careful coming to Willer Lake, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Comfort Inn Canton is a great location to get some rest; Willer Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Hickory Haven is a great local campground. During the warm days of summer here at Willer Lake, high temperatures  
   generally reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Willer Lake. An average amount of rain falls at Willer Lake; all through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Hickory Haven Campground is a fine site to do that; paddling on Bear Creek is so much
 
               fun. Dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn Keokuk; you'll meet a lot of folks from Keokuk-Fort Madison here.
Marks Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out, and get drenched paddling on Cedar Creek.

In response to keith's note. I've kayaked Cedar Creek several times. During heavy rain events the creek is VERY wild. And while yes it is bony, it's a fun ride.. especially since it's one of the only places to get above a class II ride around quincy. Additionally, DO NOT go to bear creek unless you plan on doing some flat water near where it meets the mississippi river. Any further upstream and you'll be dealing with hostile landowners who aren't aware of the navigability laws in illinois. You'll probably be met by a sherrif on the take out. See uploaded picture of cedar creek a couple of years ago....
