Summer night lows drop down to the 60's. Highs all through the winter are frequently in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Whitewood Lake. So many fun things to do here at Whitewood Lake, too perfect to be true. Go for a hike on the John J Audubon Trail, as expected you could also check out Lake Perry since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort       Inn Perryville is a nice place to get some rest; you can run the rapids of Castor River. An exciting thing to have a look at near Whitewood Lake is Whitewood Lake Dam, and if you came to camp Perryville/Cape Girardeau KOA is a wonderful spot to do that. Whitewood Lake gets a typical amount of rain; March is the wettest month with most rain while January is commonly the driest month. While staying at Whitewood Lake you could always look at Martin Hollow, and Whitewood Lake is not the only site nearby, Mallard Lake is a nearby lake.
