This lake is so wonderful. Wheeler Spring is a magnificent local attraction, and the Big Piney National Scenic Trail offers hiking at its best. For the duration of the long summer days, highs frequently are in the 90's at Wheeler Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Wheeler Lake. Bell Creek is close to Wheeler       Lake and is always a diversion to have a look at. There's so much to do here at Wheeler Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Roubidoux Springs Campground is a pleasant place for that. Wheeler Lake is right by the Cole Creek Horse Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Super 8 St Robert is a perfect choice. The Ozarks scenery is always beautiful. So many enjoyable things to do at Wheeler Lake, so little time. A round of golf at nearby Oak Hills Country                  Club is a splendid way to kill some time, and if you came to camp Country View Acres Campground is a good site to do that. Man, is there a heap of entertaining stuff to do in the Ozarks. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Kaintuck Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Home Towne Suites. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Ozarks, too good to be true. You'll meet a lot of people from Fort Leonard Wood here.
