This lake is one of the great places here in the Ozarks. So many exciting things to do here in the Ozarks, too great to be true. Roubidoux Springs Campground is a tremendous campground nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Mainstay Suites Saint Robert. For the period of the summertime, highs usually are in the 90's at Wheeler Lake. Summer night lows descend down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with       highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Wheeler Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Wheeler Spring is an inspiring spot to stop at while you're here; Home Towne Suites is a delightful place to get some rest. Wheeler Lake gets a common amount of annual rainfall; through the month of May you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is January. But wait, there's more to do close to Wheeler Lake. A stunning lake like                  W E Wilton Lake next to Wheeler Lake is a glorious place to visit, and if you're dropping by from Fort Leonard Wood, you won't be the only one. All year is a good time in the Ozarks if you have a thing about the outdoors. A round of golf at nearby Oak Hills Country Club is a great way to kill some time; glorious hiking is available along the Cole Creek Horse Trail. Don't leave Wheeler Lake without first going for a hike along the Kaintuck Trail; Wheeler Lake is a glorious place to visit for more than one day, Bluegrass Pickin' Time Campground is a glorious place to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
