If you are in St. Francois county it's always a good idea to stop by Wells Lake. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Ozarks. Drift down the rapids of Pickle Creek in a kayak; Wells Lake Dam is scenic. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Lodge at Eagle Lake, and a glorious spot to camp here at Wells Lake is State Of Missouri.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel Bonne Terre is a delightful

| | choice, and St Francois Country Club is a tremendous golf course nearby. An average amount of rainfall falls at Wells Lake; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here; the driest month is February. And that's not all you can do here at Wells Lake. The Pike Run Hills towers over Wells Lake; at Wells Lake you always meet someone from Farmington.

scenery is always beautiful.
All through the months of summer at Wells Lake highs are mostly in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are generally in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Wells Lake during the winter frequently descend into the 10's.
