Walnut Hollow Lake is a beautiful lake in the Ozarks. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Walnut Hollow Lake, for example Blue Hole; get your heart beating on the fine whitewater of Big Creek. These mountains rock, just explore all the entertaining things to do in the Ozarks. Walnut Hollow Lake is a great site to visit for more than one day, Bearcat Gateway is a great site to camp nearby, and       do take a hike on the Taum Sauk Trail. Walnut Hollow Lake is right by the Crane Lake Trail, and Section House Hole is a wonderful lake nearby. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Walnut Hollow Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Walnut Hollow Lake. The high level of rain makes Walnut Hollow Lake a quite wet                  site; the month with most of the rain is March, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Hiking along the Silver Mine Trail is magnificent fun; from Walnut Hollow Lake you obtain a splendid view of Grassy Mountain.
