If you are traveling by, why not stop by Walnut Hollow Lake. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Crane Lake Trail; after a long day outdoors Bluffview Motel & Restaurant is a tremendous site to spend a night or two. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Ozarks. The peak of Grassy Mountain can be observed from Walnut Hollow Lake, and lakes are such calm places, why not go to Blue Hole.

| | During the warm months at Walnut Hollow Lake highs are commonly in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Walnut Hollow Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Hollow Lake is peerless! Log Cabin Inn is a good site to get some rest, and there's great hiking along the Taum Sauk Trail.
These mountains rock, just look at all the amusing stuff to do in the Ozarks. Carver Creek is one of the
streams close by that might be worth a visit, and not far from Walnut Hollow Lake you get some brilliant water scenery at Walnut Hollow Lake Dam. The Silver Mine Trail offers hiking at its best; get yourself into a kayak and hit Big
Creek. Get drenched paddling on Crane Pond Creek; a spree to Walnut Hollow Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Tank Spring.
Walnut Hollow Lake is a beautiful lake in the Ozarks.
