So many fun things to do here in the Ozarks, too fine to be true. The annual rain here at Walker South Lake is about average; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while January is regularly the driest month. So many cool things close to Walker South Lake, definitely amazing. McDade Branch is a fine local stream; if you come at the right time of year, Meramec River offers some fine whitewater. | | do in the Ozarks. Why not camp at Meramec Valley Camp Resort if you're here at Walker South Lake, and lakes are such calm places, why not stop at Walker North Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Blue Moon RV Park and Horse Motel is a wonderful spot to camp; after a long day outdoors Best Western Cuba Inn is a great site to spend a night or two. 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. Highs all through the winter are generally in the 40's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Walker South Lake drop into the 10's. Walker South Lake

Tea Lakes
 | Tea Lakes is a 210 acre conservation area located 6 1/2 miles south of Rosebud, Mo. on Highway T. You may visit the area during the day and talk to David Jordan the area caretaker. There are 5 fishing lakes, primitive campsites, playground, MO. Native/Plants of Merit garden recognized by the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Mo., boy and girl scout camping areas, shelters for picnics and gatherings. There are several hiking trails, however, we are in the process of remapping these trails and some will not be usable for the summer. This is a small organization and a small membership fee is required in order to use the facilities after the initial trial/camp/visit. We welcome anyone who is conservation minded, wants a place to visit away from the hustle and bustle of the city and just enjoys the great outdoors.
