Walker North Lake Dam is worth a visit if you're here, and float down the rapids of Meramec River in a kayak. These mountains rock, just look at all the exciting things to do in the Ozarks. January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Walker South Lake is around here, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Cuba is a good place to spend a night or two. You just should love the Ozarks.

Tea Lakes
 | Tea Lakes is a 210 acre conservation area located 6 1/2 miles south of Rosebud, Mo. on Highway T. You may visit the area during the day and talk to David Jordan the area caretaker. There are 5 fishing lakes, primitive campsites, playground, MO. Native/Plants of Merit garden recognized by the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Mo., boy and girl scout camping areas, shelters for picnics and gatherings. There are several hiking trails, however, we are in the process of remapping these trails and some will not be usable for the summer. This is a small organization and a small membership fee is required in order to use the facilities after the initial trial/camp/visit. We welcome anyone who is conservation minded, wants a place to visit away from the hustle and bustle of the city and just enjoys the great outdoors.
