The Ozarks scenery is always beautiful. Dry warm beds await you at Hermann Motel, and camping is available at Kan-Do Kampground and RV Park. W Grimm Reservoir gets a common amount of rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest.
If you need a site to stay New Florence Days Inn is a wonderful choice; Libbie Branch is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out. So much cool stuff to do in the

Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more fun stuff to do here at W Grimm Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. You don’t have to go far from W Grimm Reservoir to catch a sight of the water at W Grimm Dam, and a lake close by is Benson Lake.

Lot 1 was cement and very level. We agreed to change lots when another camper came in that was staying for 4 years and for whom this lot was better suited with multi-level cement areas and flower beds.
Lot 34 was a gravel pull through which was level and just fine. All lots have picnic tables and burn rings.
The owners, Kathy & Drew, were very helpful to us and very nice and accommodating. They plan family events for the campers and have a nice little store area for essentials. Just before we left, they were going to begin having homemade muffins and to-die-for cinnamon rolls at the store.
It is very dog friendly which is important to us.
The wi-fi works well and has an excellent signal.
The campground is easy to locate from I-70 Danville Exit and is quiet and has nice grounds including trails through the woods for hiking and enjoying nature. The swimming pool was closed for the winter as the weather was cool while we were there, so I didn't use the pool.
We did not use the bathrooms, showers or laundry facilities while there, tho... |

Tea Lakes is a 210 acre conservation area located 6 1/2 miles south of Rosebud, Mo. on Highway T. You may visit the area during the day and talk to David Jordan the area caretaker. There are 5 fishing lakes, primitive campsites, playground, MO. Native/Plants of Merit garden recognized by the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Mo., boy and girl scout camping areas, shelters for picnics and gatherings. There are several hiking trails, however, we are in the process of remapping these trails and some will not be usable for the summer. This is a small organization and a small membership fee is required in order to use the facilities after the initial trial/camp/visit. We welcome anyone who is conservation minded, wants a place to visit away from the hustle and bustle of the city and just enjoys the great outdoors.
