Upper Pool is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Get drenched paddling on Taum Sauk Creek; you can go for a hike on the Crane Lake Trail. Summertime highs at Upper Pool mostly tend to be in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Upper Pool temperatures plunge to the 20's. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun stuff the

| | Ozarks has to offer. Stay the night at Parks Bluff Campground; don't leave Upper Pool without first going for a hike along the Trace Creek Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Riversedge Campground is a great campground nearby; going for a hike on the Taum Sauk Trail is always a nice adventure. All the water falling down from the sky makes Upper Pool a wet place; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest month is January. This lake is located in | |

Having a wonderful time in the Ozarks is uncomplicated. And if that's not sufficient, there's loads more to do close to Upper Pool. Imboden Fork flows through this neighborhood, and whitewater paddling is
wonderful on Black River - East Fork. There's always Taum Sauk Upper Dam to pop by in the vicinity of Upper Pool, and after a long day outdoors Potosi Super 8 Motel is a great site to spend a night or two.
