All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Ozarks will keep you coming back over and over. There's whitewater on Big Creek for all you adrenaline people, and why not camp at Big Springs River Camp since you're here at Twin Ponds. During the months of summer highs here at Twin Ponds get into the 90's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime       are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Twin Ponds. Do pay a visit to Ozark National Scenic River since you're here at Twin Ponds, and Cave Springs Campground is a fine local campground. Carter Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and a splendid close by hotel is Days Inn Doniphan. Just can't get enough of Twin Ponds. Bear Mountain Hollow is in the vicinity of Twin Ponds and is a pleasant location, and a lake nearby                  is Elm Springs Lake. Twin Ponds is a reasonably wet place generally with a large amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls all through December while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Black River; some of the water close by flows, like Devils Run.
