There's so much to do here at Sutter Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Meramec Valley Camp Resort is a tremendous location for that, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Cuba Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Alexander Lake is near Sutter Lake; in the vicinity of Sutter Lake you hit upon a golf course called Cuba Lakes Golf & Country Club. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Ozarks.

| | There's always Sutter Lake Dam to go to near Sutter Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Meramec River offers some delightful whitewater.
The amount of precipitation that falls at Sutter Lake is close to the national average; May is the wettest month with most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. to get some rest. This is a tremendous region for folks who like lakes. Indian Lake is a lake in the neighborhood; Sutter Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Blue Moon RV Park and Horse Motel is a splendid local campground.
At Sutter Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's while Sutter Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. Sutter Lake is one of the lakes here in the Ozarks.

Tea Lakes is a 210 acre conservation area located 6 1/2 miles south of Rosebud, Mo. on Highway T. You may visit the area during the day and talk to David Jordan the area caretaker. There are 5 fishing lakes, primitive campsites, playground, MO. Native/Plants of Merit garden recognized by the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Mo., boy and girl scout camping areas, shelters for picnics and gatherings. There are several hiking trails, however, we are in the process of remapping these trails and some will not be usable for the summer. This is a small organization and a small membership fee is required in order to use the facilities after the initial trial/camp/visit. We welcome anyone who is conservation minded, wants a place to visit away from the hustle and bustle of the city and just enjoys the great outdoors.
