In Missouri there are many beautiful lakes, Sutter Lake is one of them. All through the summer months, highs frequently are in the 80's at Sutter Lake. Summer night lows drop down to the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Sutter Lake fall into the 10's. This place, Sutter Lake, it clearly has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Super 8 Motel - Cuba is a good site

kayak. The annual rainfall here at Sutter Lake is about average; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is January.

Tea Lakes is a 210 acre conservation area located 6 1/2 miles south of Rosebud, Mo. on Highway T. You may visit the area during the day and talk to David Jordan the area caretaker. There are 5 fishing lakes, primitive campsites, playground, MO. Native/Plants of Merit garden recognized by the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Mo., boy and girl scout camping areas, shelters for picnics and gatherings. There are several hiking trails, however, we are in the process of remapping these trails and some will not be usable for the summer. This is a small organization and a small membership fee is required in order to use the facilities after the initial trial/camp/visit. We welcome anyone who is conservation minded, wants a place to visit away from the hustle and bustle of the city and just enjoys the great outdoors.
