     This lake is so wonderful. Meramec Valley Camp Resort is a delightful local campground; needless to say Souder Creek flows through this region. Stubblefield Lake truly is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. Whitewater paddling is great on Meramec River. So much exciting stuff in the Ozarks, just amazing. There's some attention-grabbing stuff to distinguish at Stubblefield Lake Dam right next door to Stubblefield Lake; if you've had enough of Stubblefield  
   Lake, Neill Lake is close by.
For the period of the months of summer at Stubblefield Lake highs are regularly in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Stubblefield Lake fall into the 10's. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Stubblefield Lake; during May this area sees the most rain,
 
               and the driest month is January. This lake is one of the great places here in the Ozarks.
If you need a place to stay Best Western Cuba Inn is a pleasant choice; Ozark Outdoors Riverfront Resort is a great campground nearby. Stubblefield Lake is not the only site close by, Eickhoff Lake is a close by lake; a great close by hotel is Super 8 Cuba.

Tea Lakes is a 210 acre conservation area located 6 1/2 miles south of Rosebud, Mo. on Highway T. You may visit the area during the day and talk to David Jordan the area caretaker. There are 5 fishing lakes, primitive campsites, playground, MO. Native/Plants of Merit garden recognized by the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Mo., boy and girl scout camping areas, shelters for picnics and gatherings. There are several hiking trails, however, we are in the process of remapping these trails and some will not be usable for the summer. This is a small organization and a small membership fee is required in order to use the facilities after the initial trial/camp/visit. We welcome anyone who is conservation minded, wants a place to visit away from the hustle and bustle of the city and just enjoys the great outdoors.
