Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Ozarks. Nearby lakes? Sure, Pilot Knob Pellet Company Lake Number 2 is right next door to Snow Hollow Lake; why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Arcadia Valley Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Potosi is a good spot to spend a night or two, and if you've had enough of Snow Hollow Lake, Shepherd Mountain Lake is nearby. Any time is a nice time

| | at Snow Hollow Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Stouts Creek, and do take a hike on the Taum Sauk Trail.
Snow Hollow Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. The wonderful people of Farmington like to hang out close by, and hiking along the Crane Lake Trail is perfect | |

fun. Very delightful water scenery is available at Snow Hollow Dam near Snow Hollow Lake, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Silver Mine Trail.
So much amusing stuff in the Ozarks, just remarkable. Get your
pulse rate up on the tremendous whitewater of Carver Creek. There's so much to do here at Snow Hollow Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Parks Bluff Campground is a glorious spot for that. For the period of the days of summer
highs here at Snow Hollow Lake get into the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's; overnight lows all through the wintertime for Snow Hollow Lake tend to be
in the 20's.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Days Inn Farmington is a good choice, and Snow Hollow Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Taum Sauk is a perfect local campground. Snow Hollow Lake is a beautiful lake in the Ozarks.

STOP the draining of our lake! there are animals dieing because of it! there was also more money spent here in north dakota when the lake was a lot fuller. come look and see what damage your stupid missouri is costing at the lake! i go there every year and more and more water is gone for what? notheing! now that there is not a lot of water left people have to find a a different place to go. they cant even keep there boats at fort stevenson because it is BONE DRY! missouri, you need to close down your falls because there is more money made here and it not fair that a NATIONAL PARK Can Not survive because of you!! there should be no reason why a NAtional park should close. also the lake was here before your stupid idea even came around. there for it is our right to protect what we have:our future,homes, and last but not least, our lake and population.... |

Good luck, I have been fishing here for years and I have yet to see anyone but me and a few buddies catch anything. Most of the people that hang out here are a bucnch drunks and are here to party. If you take your time and learn the lake you can catch alot of bass and as many redear you can eat. Just stay away from the local drunks.... |
