Smith Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; May is when you get the most rain here; January is the month with the least moisture. Lakes are nice; Newman Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Smith Lake, and why not pop by nearby Manacle Creek while you're here at Smith Lake. You're almost certainly hooked       on lakes, Doctor Vaughn Lake is one of those nearby. High temperatures at Smith Lake throughout the months of summer are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Smith Lake fall into the 10's. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Cedar Creek Hiking Trail, and you can stay the night at Pine Grove Village MHP. This lake is                  so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Fairfield Inn & Suites Columbia is a great choice, and Smith Lake is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Crooked Creek Campground is a nice place to camp nearby. This place, Smith Lake, it definitely has so much outdoors exciting stuff.
