A tremendous site to camp here at Smith Lake is Pine Grove Village MHP; close to Smith Lake you find a golf course called Lake of the Woods Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Columbia/Lake Of The Woods is a glorious place to get some rest, and delightful water scenery is available at Smith Lake Dam in close proximity to Smith Lake.       Smith Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain while January is generally the driest month. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Columbia - Regional Hospital A, and you're sure to run into some good folks from Columbia here. Go for a hike on the Cedar Creek Hiking Trail. Do check out Waters Edge Estates Lake close to Smith Lake, it's a picturesque lake, and whitewater paddling is great on Hinkson Creek.                  Camping is available at Cottonwoods RV Park, and while you're here, you could also explore charming Hagan Lake. Summer at Smith Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's.
