What a nice lake Slime Pond is. From a precipitation point of view Slime Pond is a pretty normal place; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily March, that's the one that rains the most; January meanwhile is the driest month. If you come at the right time of year, Castor River offers some wonderful whitewater, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Farmington, Mo. Going for a hike along the Silver Mine Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; if you need a spot to stay Farmington - Days Inn is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Madison County Country Club not far from Slime Pond. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Ozarks. idea to visit Shays Creek. Slime Pond Dam has tremendous water scenery and it's close to Slime Pond, and hiking along the John J Audubon Trail is perfect fun. All the outdoors entertaining things in the Ozarks will keep you coming
back again and again. Here at Slime Pond there are plenty of folks from Farmington, and camping at St Joe State Park is always a fine experience. Through the months of summer here at Slime Pond, high temperatures commonly get into
the 80's with night lows in the 60's. Highs through the winter are commonly in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Slime Pond sink into the 10's. The Ozarks scenery is always beautiful. This
lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Little St. Francis River, and of course, this is a pleasant neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Mine La Motte Dam is a lake around here.
