Sumac Valley is a perfect place to spend some time at; swing by North Fork Black Valley Creek it's a magnificent place to visit. Skunk Pond is a wet place that gets lots of precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so       wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Wagon Trace, and why not camp at Pulltite Campground since you're here at Skunk Pond. All through the warmest time of the year at Skunk Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Skunk Pond. Skunk Pond is one of the lakes here in the Ozarks.
